Our Management
Umut Sezer
Born in Munich, Umut Sezer began his career in 1997 at the advertising agency Serviceplan after completing his business administration studies in Munich and New York City. After two years, he decided to move into the corporate sector and held various positions at the Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis for 13 years, both nationally and internationally. In 2012, he joined the JBU Group and most recently served as an authorized signatory at the subsidiary Bio-Garten, where he was responsible for the company’s operations. Following the sale of the company, Umut Sezer was responsible for strategic business development at Hermes Arzneimittel before moving to Bad Heilbrunn at the end of 2016, where he serves as spokesperson for the management board. Sales - Ilja Zielinski
In Sales, we ensure that our products make their way onto the shelves of drugstores and grocery retailers.
Our Key Account Manager serves as the direct contact for our customers, while the internal sales team provides details about products, prices, and terms.

One of our main responsibilities is “advertising.” Our portfolio of communication initiatives ranges from digital campaigns to traditional print campaigns and is complemented by our PR efforts.
In addition, innovation and new products play an important role for us. We are constantly working to modernize our packaging design, which must reflect the distinctive style of the Bad Heilbrunner brand while also being contemporary and modern.
Procurement - Stefan Fischer
In Procurement, we ensure that our products are available in the highest quality and at the best possible price, with on-time delivery. To achieve this, our procurement team works closely with our existing packaging and raw material suppliers, as well as contract manufacturers.
Of course, continuous analysis of optimization potential, exploration of new sourcing markets, and evaluation of potential suppliers or contract manufacturers are also an essential part of our work.
Logisitics - Dominik Szekeli
In Logistics, "TEAMWORK" is our top priority. We ensure a smooth process for the transportation, storage, provisioning, procurement, and distribution of goods.
Our team covers various areas, including goods receipt, storage, and order picking. In addition, our team is responsible for the setup of displays and their shipping. We work together to streamline our logistics processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
Development - Dr. Martin Bräutigam
In our Product Development and Assurance team, we bridge theory and practice, turning ideas and product concepts into new tea creations. We also focus on quality assurance across our product range.
Our responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with legal requirements, testing products through pilot production runs, evaluating laboratory analyses, and conducting accompanying sensory tests.
Additionally, we handle knowledge sharing, address inquiries and complaints from both retailers and end consumers as part of our daily tasks.
Controlling
In our Controlling team, our primary responsibilities include ensuring transparency within our company, as well as analyzing, coordinating, and planning. To this end, we work primarily with numbers, data, and information generated by other departments and business partners, as well as through our own analyses.
We also often serve as sparring partners for our colleagues, working together to find solutions to a wide range of challenges.
Quality Management & Pharmaceutical Affairs - Dr. Frank Poetsch
In our Quality Management & Pharmaceutical Affairs department, several areas of work are combined, resulting in a broad range of responsibilities.
Quality assurance focuses on all measures that ensure compliance with the established quality requirements for the products we manufacture and distribute.
Quality control evaluates the quality of all raw materials required for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and food products, and our regulatory affairs department is responsible, among other things, for maintaining regulatory documentation.
Production and Technology - Torsten Friedrich
In our production department, machine and equipment operators ensure the quality of the manufactured products during shift operations. Their responsibilities include loading, operating, monitoring, and cleaning the filling and packaging equipment on our production lines.
Our technicians ensure the optimal availability of our production equipment. They handle maintenance, upkeep, and repairs.
Our Head of Production & Engineering is responsible for ensuring the proper and optimized flow of all processes in the production and engineering departments.
Private Label Management - Daniela Scharfenecker

As an experienced tea manufacturer, we design and develop tailored product concepts with the goal of optimally supporting the success of your private label assortments. Our constant aim is to meet consumer demands and create added value for the product category.
